Job Summary | The Continuing Studies Department at Emily Carr University of Art + Design is seeking experienced user experience designers, user interface designers, product designers, visual designers, product managers, project managers, team leaders and project leads to join our team of instructors for the User Experience Design Certificate program. The User Experience Design Certificate is an 8-month career-focused program that teaches students industry-relevant skills. Grounded in an ethical human-centered approach, students will develop technical, creative, and collaborative skills in UX design while gaining hands-on experience in solving real world problems through team projects. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for life-long learning and have measurable and diverse industry experience within the field of UX design. We are looking for active designers who are looking to be part of a vibrant learning community. Scheduling: Full Time Program Courses are scheduled weekdays, either 8:30am – 12:30pm (for cohorts starting in April) or 1:30pm – 5:30pm (for cohorts starting in September). Applicants must be available for in-person learning. Scheduling: Part Time Program Courses are scheduled weekday evenings and weekends, and may be offered in person or online. Please indicate availability in your application. Continuing Studies instructors are contracted to teach at an hourly rate of $88.45. Duties include:
