Position Title | Continuing Studies Instructor – Software Essentials |

Job Summary | The Continuing Studies Department at Emily Carr University of Art + Design is seeking experienced IT professionals, Trainers, Graphic Designers/Illustrators and specialized software experts to join our team of instructors. We encourage individuals with expertise in computer basics, and expert knowledge in the following software(s) to apply:
Applicants should anticipate a range of students from various disciplines and backgrounds looking for practical insight on software, including the latest features and best practices. Successful applicants will be added to our pool of Continuing Studies educators who are contracted per term. ECU Continuing studies adult and/or youth individual courses are scheduled per term, once per week on weekday evenings and/or weekends, and may be offered in person or online. Continuing Studies instructors are contracted to teach at an hourly rate of $76.00. Instructional contracts involve:

Required Qualifications | Applicants with a degree or experience in a relevant field, such as IT, UX/UI, Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation, Photography, Game Development or VFX, and/or a combination of comparable professional experience is an asset. We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:
